Weyburn Opal Sheeks, 96, of Carmel, passed away on May 11, 2018. She was born March 14, 1922 in Williams, Indiana.

Weyburn was a member of North Central Church of Christ for many years, where she volunteered and loved her God and Jesus. She was a very talented gardener.

Weyburn was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Charles R. Sheeks, and two of her children, her only son, Charles Reed Sheeks, and daughter, Anne Kilinki. She is survived by her youngest daughter, Susan Geroff; grandchildren, Rodney, Michael, Daniel, Megan, and Kristen; and 9 great grandchildren.

Weyburn will be laid to rest at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in a private family graveside service.

She always wanted a home and a family – she had that! She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
